COVID 19 UPDATE: We request that all adult clients are vaccinated or hold a suitable medical certificate. We also request use of mask.

Are dogs allowed?

If your dogs are well behaved and on the lead when we are near sheep I don't see why not.  We may charge a small extra please let us know in advance if you intend to bring a dog on the tour.

We are travelling on after tour can I bring luggage

if its a bespoke tour this will not be a problem if you are sharing the tour with part of a group let us know in advanceand we will get a solution for your luggage

Is there an age limit on your tour

Again if it is a bespoke tour there is no age limit just let us know if you have young children so we can get right safety chair.  If you are coming as part of a scheduled tour we tend to think below 10 might be a bad idea.  But we will take each request on the information you provide us about your child

Are your tours weather dependant

We hardly ever cancel a tour due to weather unless it is a bad  storm.  The seafood experience is not available in winter and at the end of the tour this is in the open air so we suggest you bring suitable warm and waterproof clothing

Do you provide refreshments

On warm days we will provide water and the end of the tour there is the option of a Seafood experience.
The seafood experience is catered for at McGillivarys seafood on the Railway pier and we serve up some of the best seafood the Scottish waters have to offer.
For long or bespoke tours we can provide a pack lunch on request

Can you cater for disabled people?

Yes our vehicle is specially adapted with a ramp and we can take two wheelchairs.  Some parts of the tour we actually get out the vehicle so about 20% may be missed by wheel chair bound clients but I am sure we will make up for it.

Will my tour guide provide commentary during the trip?

Our guides are local and they have a passion for the history of the area and some not all are retired law enforcement and will give you some modern takes on our beautiful landscape and towns

What toilet facilities have your tours got

We don't have a toilet on the vehicle but all our drivers know where to find facilities quickly

What should I wear?

Scotland the weather is variable take warm clothing waterproof and sensible shoes.  We will leave the vehicle on occasion and take short walks across sometimes muddy paths

Do you have facilities for disabled people?

Yes our vehicle is especially adapted with a ramp and can take two wheelchairs but please advise us in advance.  Some of the stops may not be fully accessible but this will only be a short part of the journey

Do I need to book in advance or can I book on the day

We prefer you book at least one day in advance but please contact us and we will see what we can do
