The Glencoe Experience


I am a Scot and fascinated by the story of Glencoe massacre and on this tour I will share my detailed knowledge of those events and where possible adding odd joke or two to lighten mood.


Setting off from Oban we will travel to Appin and learn about the amazingly beautiful Castle Stalker. We then travel past the site of the infamous Appin Murder and on to the breathtaking mountains of Glencoe, passing by several sites associated with the Glencoe Massacre. Finally we travel through the Pass of Glencoe to the mesmerising beauty of Rannoch Moor, before our return to Oban through Glen Orchy.

Travel along the beautiful River Orchy along an off the beaten track route to follow the coffin trail where Kings and Queens of Scotland were transported to their final resting place in Iona.
